Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu is elated following his debut for Southampton on Thursday night.
The 21-year-old excelled at the back for Southampton as they went away to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers by two goals to nothing in the FA Cup.
Salisu who has been on the sidelines for the past six months mentioned that it was a night to remember as his team won on his maiden appearance.
“It’s a perfect night, I’m really happy to be back with the team,” Salisu told his club’s website”The team really did well and worked hard, I’m very happy.
“I’m very excited for a clean sheet, it’s very important.
“It was a great boost really, we are going to give our all on Sunday.
“I think we need to focus on the next round, fight hard together and I think we’ll go further.
“When we are on the pitch, we are all the same and we have to give our all.
“I’m looking forward to playing more matches and give my best to the team.”
Southampton will welcome Wolves to St. Mary’s Park in the League this weekend and the Ghanaian guardsman is looking up to that game.
