NO REST: Black Stars defender Ganiyu starts for Kotoko after successful Ghana debut

Ismail Ganiyu will not be rested at Asante Kotoko after playing 180 minutes in two games for the Black Stars during Day 5 and Day 6 of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.

The Kotoko center back excelled in his debut games for the Ghana national team and was applauded by many fans and pundits.

The former Wa All Stars / Legon Cities defender has been named in Kotoko’s starting formation against Eleven Wonders on Saturday as he is as usual expected to lead the his team from the back.
