Danish first division side FC Fredericia have announced the signing of Ghanaian youth striker Justin Kwabena Shaibu.
The 22-year-old who has been on trial training at the club for the last few days, has signed for them on a contract that runs for the rest of the 2020/21 football season..
The Danish-born Ghanaian international has previously played for English Championship side Brentford in 2016.
”We have been looking for an extra striker to strengthen the width of our squad, and we have now found him in Justin Shaibu,” said director Stig Pedersen.
The budding striker himself is looking forward to getting started and getting his first fight in the red jersey.
”Now I have been with the squad for a few days and I am really happy to have to continue with it. I really appreciate the opportunity, and will do my best to pay back and prove myself.” Shaibu said.
FC Fredericia currently sit on sixth position on the Danish 1st Division League table with 12 points after playing six games.
