Former Ghanaian international Mallam Yahaya is expected to be appointed as the new head coach of Division 1 side Proud United.
The Zone 2 club is currently battling for survival in the Ghanaian second tier league and following the taken over of the team by The Member of Parliament (MP) for Jomoro Constituency, Madam Dorcas Affo Toffey, measures has been put in place to bring in an experienced tactical brain.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that talks between the new management of Proud United and Mallam Yahaya who vacated his job at Wassaman earlier this week has reached an advanced stage and he could handed the job in the coming days.
Yahaya has previously also handled King Faisal, Nzema Kotoko and a host of other teams.
