Ghanaian International Ernest Asante has joined UAE side Al- Jazira FC from Danish club FC Nordsjælland.
The former Stabaek FC star signed a two-year deal with the Abu Dhabi based club on Wednesday.
Asante 29, previously had stints with IK Start and Stabaek FC in Norway, scoring 22 goals in 66 caps before joining FC Nordsjælland.
He powered FC Nordsjælland to qualify for the UEFA Champions League following his scintillating form in the Danish top flight league.
The highly talented winger was a member of Ghana’s U17 team who played at the 2005 FIFA U17 World Cup in Peru. In 2016 he was voted as the most fastest player in the world.
Asante will join Al Jazeera’s first team as they prepare for the 2018-2019 season.
