Budding teenager Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has commended Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira for the faith he has in him.
The 18-year-old winger tasted Premier League action on Saturday afternoon at Stamford Bridge as his side were annihilated 3-0 by Chelsea and he has lauded Vieira for using him in the final quarter of the hour.
“I think he’s(Patrick Vieira) been incredible from the start, he’s really encouraged me, motivated me just to make sure I keep pushing and working hard and letting me know that if I work hard I’ve got a chance to play regularly in the first-team.” Rak-Sakyi told Palace TV
“He just wanted me to express myself because he knew it was a big moment for me coming on the pitch. He just wanted me to take every minute and keep working hard.”
Rak-Sakyi was among three players who have been promoted to the senior team by Patrick Vieira.
