South Africa ABSA Premier League giants Orlando Pirates are ready to bring in a new goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that Pirates are closing in on Supersports United goalkeeper Ronwen Williams as they are not impressed with their shot stoppers this campaign including Richard Ofori.
The future of all Pirates keepers are not guaranteed for the next season with the exception of 38-year-old Wayne Sandilands who will play and act as goalkeepers coach for the 2021/2022 campaign.
Should Pirates get Williams who is a first choice goalkeeper, Ofori who is one of their highest earning goalkeepers could be sacrificed as they seek to balance the sheet financially.
Pirates are currently 5th on the league table with 35 points and are eight points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns who have played two games less.
