Senegalese Super Star, Sadio Mane has built a mini stadium in his native hometown to support and promote local football.
The former Liverpool star built the stadium in Bambali which happens to be his hometown. The talented striker was spotted playing in the mud two years ago when he visited Senegal during the off-season break. The muddy park which he played on two years ago will now be known as Stade De Bambali.
The gesture is a similar one done by former Ghanaian captain Asamoah Gyan. The legendary Ghanaian striker built a small mini park worth over $200,000 for his alma Mata Accra Academy in 2017 to help the school in promoting and nurturing talent.
Sadio Mane’s kind humanitarian gesture has earned him lots of applause across the continent as he the move will seek to unearth more talents across his hometown.
