Ghanaian winger Solomon Asante has been named as the USL player of the week after his superb outing for Phoenix Rising Stars against Las Vegas Lights at the Cashman Field Stadium.
The mercurial Phoenix skipper set up Rufat Dadasov for the opener in the fifth minute before netting the third goal for his side as the game ended 3-3.
Asante was named man of the match in the epic clash by the official USL board and he has now topped it up with the player of the week accolade.
He has netted six goals and provided eight assists in nine league games so far this season.
Wasn't a tough choice for the @USLChampionship Player of the Week.
