Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC have lauded the Black Satellites following their qualification to the grand finale of the ongoing U-20 AFCON in Mauritania.
Ghana defeated Gambia by a lone goal in the first semi finals game on Monday and they will now meet Uganda in the finals on Saturday after the East Africans also annihilated Tunisia by four goals to one.
Legon Cities FC who are having a player in the squad have sent a goodwill message to the entire team ahead of the game with Uganda this weekend.
“From all of us at #LegonCities, we say congratulations to the Black Satellites & Matthew Anim Cudjoe who are through to the African U20 Championship finals in Mauritania.” The club tweeted.
The last time Ghana reached the finals of the competition was in 2013 in Algeria in which they lost on penalties to Egypt.
