Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Abalora will not feature for the Porcupine Warriors team this weekend after being excluded from coach Mariano Barreto’s squad for the Ghana Premier League week26 clash with West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).
The Portuguese trainer named 18-man squad without Abalora who has been Kotoko’s first-choice goalkeeper this campaign.
Abalora, formerly of Azam FC , has come under massive criticism from supporters of Asante Kotoko for failing to perform well in recent games.
He committed a howler as Kotoko were held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Liberty Professionals in Sogakope last week.
His exclusion from the squad thus paves way for either Felix Annan or Kwame Baah to start in goal against WAFA on Saturday at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
Meanwhile, Brazilian attacker Michael Vinicius was also not named in the 18-man squad.
A win for Kotoko will see them remain top of the league.
