Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt Dr. Winfred Nii Okai Hammond paid a visit to the Black Meteors on Wednesday.
The team is in Cairo-Egypt preparing for their Caf U23 Championship group opener against Cameroon on Friday.
H.E Ramadan who was with some staff of the embassy, encouraged the players to make the nation proud by ending a 16-year wait for Olympic Games qualification.
The Ambassador, ahead of their opening group match against Cameroon on Friday, has assured the players and the technical team of the embassy’s support throughout their stay in Egypt.
The Black Meteors have been pooled against hosts Egypt, Mali and Cameroun in Group A.

Skipper Yaw Yeboah however, expressed gratitude on behalf of his teammates after Dr. Winfred Nii Okai Hammond’s important visit.
