Ghanaian international Denis Odoi scored his first league goal of the season as Club Brugge secured a commanding 3-0 victory over KRC Genk in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
The versatile defender found the back of the net in the 73rd minute after converting a pass from Belgian midfielder Maxim De Cuyper.
The visitors took the lead through Norwegian midfielder Hugo Vetlesen, and Norway international forward Andreas Skov Olsen sealed the win with a late penalty.
Brugge’s triumph propelled them to third place in the standings, while Genk remained in sixth place.
Odoi, who has now scored two goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for Brugge this season, played a crucial role in securing the important victory for his team.
