Center-forward Michael Sarpong was on the score sheet for Young Africans SC in the Tanzanian Premier League on Sunday evening.
The well-built Ghanaian striker scored his fourth league goal for the Green and Yellows in the Tanzanian top-flight after joining the team this season.
After 32 minutes played in the first half, the 24-year-old forward rose highest in the box to meet a cross with a bullet header to make it 1-0 to Yanga SC against Ruvu Shooting Stars.
The visitors struck back in the second half after 61 minutes of action but Tuisila Kisinda restored the Green and Yellows lead four minutes later to make it 2-1 to the home team.
Yanga remain unbeaten in the league after 14 matches with ten wins and four draws this campaign as they sit at the apex of league with 34 points.
The former Dreams FC and Rayon Sports man has four goals season in the Tanzanian Premier League.
