Ghanaian youngster Francis Amuzu grabbed a goal and assist in RSC Anderlecht heavy victory over KV Mechelen on the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.
The Belgian-born Ghanaian forward came from the bench to score his second goal of the season and also registered his first assist in the 2021-22 season in the Belgium top-flight.
The first half which was a frenetic and an end-to-end stuff ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Anderlecht turned on the screws in the second half as they thump the visitors 7-2 at the end of the match with six goals on the second period of the match.
On the 73rd, Amuzu’s right-footed shot from the right side of six yard box found the center of the goal following an assist from Michael Murillo.
He later on in the game set up Bayern Munich loanee, Joshua Zirkzee to grab the 7th goal for the home team three minutes from full time in their emphatic 7-2 win.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward has played six games in the 2021-22 Belgium Jupiler Pro League and has two goals and one assist.
