Accra Great Olympics coach Annor Walker has issued a strong warning to Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto, insisting his teamKotoko would be beaten when the two coaches clash in the Ghana Premier League week 20.
Mr Walker who’s guided Accra Great Olympics to their best start to the Ghana Premier League since 2003 believes his side has shaken off the 2-0 defeat they suffered at the hands of Legon Cities and are ready to host thw 24 times Ghana Champions.
Speaking on KUMASI 104.1 FM, the gaffer maintained the presence of Asante Kotoko’s Portuguese coach Mariano Barreto does not put fear in his team and will definitely win on Friday.
“No, there’s no fear at all in me, I’m only waiting for Friday to come, so that we can honour the game, Yes, Mariano Barreto has added something new to the Kotoko team but I have so much confidence in my players that we will beat them and achieve our target”.
Great Olympics have been outstanding in the Ghanaian top-flight league this campaign, beating both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko in the first round of the league.
