Black Stars B 100% record preparations ahead of the 2018 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso was damaged following their 3-1 defeat to Attram’s de Visser at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday afternoon.
The home based Black Stars team engaged the Academy Boys in their last preparatory match before enplaning for Ouagadougou on Wednesday to face Burkina Faso in the first leg of the 2018 CHAN.
De Visser shot Attram’s de Visser in front in the 30th minute through Reginald Thompson after he tapped home a cross from Douglas Mintah’s to beat Aduana Stars goalkeeper Joseph Addo.
AshantiGold’s Safiu Mumuni pulled a goal back for the Black Stars when he went pass Goalkeeper Edmund Akrong with pass from Zakaria Mumuni on the 40th minute mark
Thompson restored de Visser’s lead Joseph Addo 59th minute when his cross beat Goalkeeper Joseph Addo at the far end of the post.
The Black Stars will travel to Burkina Faso on Wednesday and play the first leg on 12th August 2017 in Ouagadougou before hosting the second leg a week later at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Ghana will be hoping to qualify for next year’s CHAN Tournament in Kenya after missing out of the 2015 edition in Rwanda.
