Mohammed Kudus suffers fresh injury in Champions League debut, plays only six minutes against Liverpool

Ghana star Mohammed Kudus suffered an injury and walked off the pitch after six minutes into his first appearance in the competition for Ajax Amsterdam on Wednesday night.

Kudus was handed a starting berth against Premier League champions, Liverpool and could only play the first six minutes of the big game.

The 20-year old attacker could not continue the game after a clash with Fabinho.

He was quickly replaced by Quincy Promes after the medical team examined him and decided to allow him to continue the match.

The Ghanaian international was almost teary when the medical team confirmed he needed to be substituted.

Kudus joined Ajax in the summer on a five-year deal from Danish side FC Nordjaeland.
