Newly signed USM Alger striker, Kwame Opoku appealed to the supporters of the club at his unveiling in Algers on Tuesday after his from Asante Kotoko and have told them what he needs from them to be successful at the club.
The Black Stars striker at his official unveiling after passing his mandatory medical test pleaded with the supporters of the Red and Black team to pray for him to be a success at the club.
“What I say to the fans or requests from them is their prayers. I want them to pray for me and also give me unflinching support to be able to be a success story at the club”, he said.
According to the 21-year-old Ghanaian, since it was announced that he has agreed to join the Algerian giants, their fans have been encouraging him and that makes him happy and excited to begin his journey with the team and thanked them for being there for him.
“I have always received encouraging words and messages from the fans after my deal with the club was announced and I must say that made me happy and served as a morale boost and a big motivation for me and I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the lovely fans of this esteemed football team”, Opoku added.
The Ghanaian joined the Algeria Ligue 1 on a four-and-a-half-year deal in a deal believed to be over $350,000.00.
