Swansea City AFC deputy captain, Andre Ayew scored in his team’s big win in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon against Millwall FC.
The Ghanaian forward enjoyed full 90 minutes of the match as he shined throughout the afternoon to help his side secure a vital 3-0 away win as they continue to push for promotion into the Premier League.
On the stroke of halftime, Ayew scored a scorcher from outside the box into the bottom left corner with a powerful left-footed strike after he was set up by Conor Hourihane.
The Jack Army’s ended the first 45 minutes of the match with a narrow but deserving 1-0 lead.
Thirty minutes from the break, Jamal Lowe powered the middle following a fast break by the visitors before slotting home the second goal on the 75th-minute mark to make it 2-0.
Ayew combined with Lowe on the 86th-minute mark and set up the latter nicely to grab his second goal of the match to put icing on the cake for Swansea City who went home with a clean sheet with a 3-0 victory.
Ayew, 31, has 15 goals and three assists in 39 games this season for The Swans in the English Championship.
