Belgian top-flight side KAS Eupen have officially announced that they have extended the contract of Ghanaian youth goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen for the next two years.
Manaf, 21, manned the post three times for Ghana’s Black Satellites in the 2019 U20 AFCON.
The talented youth goalkeeper, joined Eupen from Aspire Academy Senegal in summer 2017 and has gone ahead to become a regular goalkeeper for the Eupen reserves team.
He has also warmed the bench a number of times for the first team.
KAS Director General Christoph Henkel is optimistic Nurudeen would eventually become the first choice goalkeeper for Eupen in the near future taking into consideration his tremendous career rise.
“Abdul Manaf is a very talented and reliable goalkeeper. Even if it has not yet been used in our first team, it is an integral part of our professional squad. With his talent and commitment, he will continue to develop with us in the next two years. We are happy that Abdul Manaf will continue to be part of our team in the future.”
Manaf has already represent Ghana at both the U17 and U20 levels and has been tipped to don the Black Stars jersey in future.
