Ghana international, Benson Annan has been ruled out of the two World Cup qualifying games against South Africa and Ethiopia due to injury.
The right-back picked up an injury during MSK Zilina’s 1-1 draw with Spartak Trnava away from over the weekend. He came off the bench after the recess and the injury looks to have ruled him out of the World Cup Qualifiers.
The right-back has been a regular in the Black Stars team under coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor and his absence could be a huge blow for the head coach.
The Ghana Football Association confirmed the player’s situation in a post on their social media page.
