Former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah has decided to distance himself from the Black Stars assistant coaching role, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko man has revealed his unpreparedness to take up the coaching as the Ghana FA continues with its search for new technical handlers.
According to the spokes person for the former Ghana head coach, the gaffer is not interested in becoming an assistant coach for the Black Stars.
“Coach Kwasi Appiah is not ready to accept any assistant coach role at the Black Stars”, he stated.
Appiah qualified Ghana for the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament staged in Brazil where Ghana exited the competition at the group stage without a single one.
