Bofoakwa Tano striker Welbeck Takyi has sent a get-well message to Medeama enforcer Justice Blay following his injury on Sunday.
The Medeama midfielder had to be rushed to the Tarkwa Government Hospital after being at the receiving end of a bad tackle from Legon Cities defender Joseph Adjei.
It is feared that Blay’s season has ended as he might need surgery and Takyi has wished him speedy recovery.
“A talent I’ve witnessed very closely @JusticeBlay_, so sad and devastating to hear such a news. I ask for a super speedy healing for u. Can’t play a next game without the help of painkillers in Ghana, we need to help ourselves as players.” Takyi tweeted.
Both players were called to the Black Stars prior to Ghana’s AFCON qualification game against South Africa and Sao Tome last month.
