CAF has confirmed in an official statement that the Round 6 fixture between Zamalek SC of Egypt and Super Olympian Dune Afrique Renaissance (SOAR) of Guinea will not go ahead today as planned.
“The scheduled TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup fixture between Zamalek SC and Super Olympian Dune Afrique Renaissance (SOAR) will not go ahead today,” revealed CAF on their official website.
“The fixture was scheduled for Sunday, 03 March 2023 in Cairo, Egypt.
“The matter has been referred to CAF’s competent bodies,” added CAF.
Group B of the CAF Confederation Cup is already decided as Zamalek and Abu Salim of Libya have qualified at the expense of Sagrada and SOAR with the Guineans having won just 1 point.
The report says SOAR did not attend the pre-match conference on Saturday and they are nowhere to be found in Egypt
It remains unknown what has actually happened to SOAR.
