Don-Angelo Konadu, the Dutch-born Ghanaian striker, showcased his prowess on the field by scoring a crucial goal for Ajax U-18 in their recent triumph over Feyenoord U18 in the Dutch O18 Divisie 1 Spring.
Having signed his first professional contract with Ajax in May 2023, Konadu demonstrated his value by converting a penalty in the 19th minute to give his team the lead in a commanding 3-0 home victory.
This goal marked Konadu’s first of the season after featuring in five league games for Ajax U-18.
Currently leading the Divisie 1 Spring standings with 12 points, Ajax shares the same points tally with second-placed AZ Alkmaar and third-placed Feyenoord.
While representing the Dutch U-18 national team presently, Konadu remains eligible to represent Ghana, his parents’ homeland, showcasing his potential to contribute to the Black Stars in the future.
