Ghana’s 2020 CHAN qualifier at home to Burkina-Faso will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, sportsworldGhana.com can report.
Ghana will host Burkina Faso in the first leg on 26th September before traveling to Ouagadougou for the return fixture which is set to be played after the WAFU tournament in Senegal.
Meanwhile, head coach Maxwell Konadu is worried about the uncertainty surrounding Black Stars B camping date despite announcing his squad last week.
“We’ve named the squad so we are waiting for authorities to give us the green light so we will call the players for us to start training.”
“We are the defending champions, we’ve won the WAFU twice, it’s (now) the third time and if we win, we win it for keep so if we go to camp early and prepare early and prepare well it will help us all to be able to go and make Ghana proud in Senegal” he said this in an interview with Kumasi-based Fox FM.
Ghana has missed out in the last two editions of the competition and are determined to pick a ticket this time.
