Former Ghana Athletics Association chairman George Lutterodt has labeled ousted GOC president Prof Francis Dodoo as the worst Ghana Olympic committee leader that nation has ever had.
The current Ghana Athletics Association boss recently lost to Weightlifting president Ben Nunoo Mensah in the GOC elections held in Accra.
Lutterodt says Dodoo’s reign saw the nation’s worst ever performance at both the 2012 Olympics and the Rio Olympic games in Brazil.
George Lutterodt insists the former GOC president did not make a positive impact on sports in the country.
“I think Dodoo has been a very positive influence on sports and i am sorry to say it but that is the truth”
“He was very critical and vindictive for instance on all of us that is the past chairmen but as i said he is the worst ever GOC President we have had as a nation and his absence will not affect Ghana sports at all not one bit”
“There is change and i know the people who are in charge now will do a great job”he told Starr FM
