Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey was on target for Jong Ajax as they posted a 2-1 away win against Jong FC Utrecht on Monday night in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.
The 18-year old striker opened the scoring for Ajax after just two minutes into the game before Christopher Mamengi restored parity for the host in the 42nd minute with an own goal.
The game was almost ended 1-1 but substitute Tim Pieters netted a late-minute goal in the 90th-minute mark to seal an important 2-1 away win at the Sport complex Zoudenbalch.
Dortmund are interested in the services of the 18-year old striker after Ajax said that both sides couldn’t come to an agreement over a possible contract extension.
According to Oriol Domenech Brobbey is one of the strikers on Dortmund’s list, and Mino Raiola has confirmed he is not going to extend his contract with the Dutch giants.
Erling Haaland is one of Europe’s best at the moment. Brobbey could be his replacement if the striker leaves Germany in the summer. He would be fighting for a spot in the starting eleven together with the 16-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko.
