German youth international of Ghanaian parentage Aaron Opoku will stay at Hamburg for the coming season.
Opoku, 21, spent last season on loan at Bundesliga 3 outfit Hansa Rostock and made 33 appearances scoring five goals and providing six assists but has reverted back to his parent club
Sportsworldghana.com can reveal that Hamburg Manager Daniel Thioune is keen on Opoku and is ready to keep him as he believes he can solve his wing problem.
Opoku has gone through all the youth ranks of Hamburg before being promoted to the senior team in 2018.
On the international scene, he has featured for the German Under 19 and Under 20 teams but is still eligible to play for Ghana.
