Exclusive: Ghana goalkeeper Clement Ashitey joins Maltese side San Gwann FC

Ghanaian shot stopper Clement Ashitey has signed for Maltese second tier club San Gwann FC as a free agent.

Ashitey, 26, moves to the fold of the “Saints” on a two-year deal as he seeks to get on top of his career.

The agile goalkeeper previously played for Amidaus Professionals, South African side Bidvest Wits as well as Ethiopian outfit Dedebit FC.

He is expected to play a key role for San Gwann FC in the remaining games in the Maltese first division as they continue to push for promotion.
