Midfielder George Amoako is set to return to the Ghana Premier League after terminating his contract with Tunisian top-flight side US Tataoauine barely two-weeks after joining them from Liberty Professionals, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

The Scientific Soccer Lads’ skipper joined the Magreb based club in the ongoing transfer window but the highly-rated midfielder has opted to terminate his contract due to disagreement over personal terms.

Amoako had already agreed a three-year deal with Tataouine before leaving the shores of Ghana.

But the deal could not be finalized due to disagreement between the player and club over salary despite the player successfully passing his mandatory medical.

Information gathered by our outfit indicate that, the terms of the contract initially agreed was changed by US Tataouine upon Amoako’s arrival in Tunisia.

The initially agreed salary was slashed by 75% when the contract was subsequently presented to the player, much to the displeasure of the player and his representatives.

Due to the turn of events in Tunisian, George Amoako will return to Ghana on Tuesday to continue the season with Liberty professionals.
