Croatian outfit Slaven Belupo are in pole position to sign Ghanaian youngster Basiru Alhassan.
Basiru, 20, left United Arab Emirates pro league side Al Wasl this summer following the expiration of his contract and he is currently a free agent.
Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that Slaven Belupo have already made an offer for the young defensive midfielder which is being considered by his representatives.
Aside Slaven Belupo, a host of other teams are also interested in the talented midfield enforcer.
Basiru previously played for Tudu Mighty Jets, Dreams FC as well as Sparta Prague Under 19.
He made a total of eight appearances for the senior team of Al Wasl this season though he was mainly used in their Under 23.
