Philip Ankrah promoted to Hellas Verona senior team

Ghanaian teenager Philip Ankrah Yeboah has been promoted to the senior side of Hellas Verona.

Ankrah, 17, was phenomenon for the Hellas Verona primavera team this ended season netting eight goals and providing four assists in 22 games.

SPORTSworldGhana.com can reveal that the exploits of Yeboah caught the attention of senior team gaffer Ivan Juric who has brought him to his fold.

The budding attacker has already been handed the number “30” jersey and he is expected to get some playing time at the highest level.

Ankrah is one of the hottest prospects in the Italian youth ranks and he has already been likened to the legendary Christian Vieri due to his style of play.
