German-born Ghanaian forward Christopher Antwi-Adjei was on target for SC Paderborn when they recorded a 2-1 victory over FC Ingolstadt to progress to the second round of the German DFB Pokal on Monday night.
The 24-year-old Hagener, who has been nicknamed “Jimmy” since his youth in Dortmund, struck on the 34th minute to give his side the lead before Philipp Klement made it 2-0 for the host ten minutes later.
German forward Sonny Kittel, scored on the 76th mark to pull one back for Ingolstadt at the Benteler-Arena.
However, striker Bernard Tekpetey lasted full 90 minutes in the game.
Antwi, is eligible to represent either Germany or Ghana at the senior international team level.
