Former Ghana striker Ernest Papa Arko has heavily backed leading Ghana FA presidential George Afriyie to become the new GFA boss.
The former Liberty Professional star has urged club’s delegates to vote for someone in the shape of George Afriyie who has the qualities to lead the nation’s football governing body and not favoritism.
The former Ghana FA vice President who is the current bankroller of Division One League side Okyeman Planners, is seeking to occupy the FA’s top seat when they go into polls on 25th October, 2019.
“Delegates shouldn’t vote based on favoritism, they need to elect someone who is capable to do the job” Papa Arko told OTEC FM in Kumasi.
“They should consider George Afriyie because he has the potentials and was willing to do the job even when he was vice to Nyantakyi ” he added
