Ghanaian forward, Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah scored the only goal for SC Kriens in their 1-0 away win at FC Wil 1900 on Friday evening.
The 23-year-old predator finisher played full throttle for his team and scored the only goal of the match to make sure his side returned home with all three points.
The game was played on a high tempo but failed to produce a goal in the larger part of the 90 minutes before the Ghana attacker broke the deadlock eight minutes from full time.
Abubakar-Ankrah’s goal meant Kriens returned to winning ways after two losses in the Swiss Challenge League and recorded their second win in four games.
The former Willem II man has found the back of the net four times in the Switzerland second tier after four round of matches.
Kriens occupy the sixth position on the table after their narrow away win at Wil.
