Black Stars winger, Christopher Antwi-Adjei netted the winning goal for SC Paderborn in the German Bundesliga 2 on Saturday afternoon.
The Ghanaian international scored his team’s second goal in their 2-1 win over Sandhausen at home after coming from a goal down to move 10th on the league table after 21 matches with 30 points.
Just fifteen minutes into the game, the away team were up by a lone goal through a nice finish from Besar Halimi who found the bottom right corner with a pile driver from outside the box.
Ten minutes away from the halftime whistle, Dennis Srbeny’s right-footed strike from the right side of the box went straight into the bottom left corner to make it 1-1 at the break.
On the 73rd minute of the match, Johannes Dörfler set up Antwi-Adjei on the right side of the box and the Ghanaian winger’s right-footed effort fount the roof of the center of the net to grab all three points for the hosts as the match ended 2-1 to SC Paderborn.
The 27-year-old versatile forward has played 18 times this season for the former Bundesliga side and has a goal to his name after breaking his 17 games goal drought in the Bundesliga 2.
