Phoenix Rising Stars FC captain, Soloman Asante was named Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s heart breaking draw in the USL Championship on Sunday.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian winger, Asante, picked up from where he left off last match day as he continued with his impressive showings in the league for the Black and Reds.
Asante, arguably the best player in the Phoenix team once again proved his mettle in the USL Championship by setting up a goal and grabbing one himself to help his side secure a point on the road.
The visitors three away two goals lead in the closing stages of the match to draw 3-3 to Las Vegas Lights FC.
The former TP Mazembe starman for a second game running has been awarded the MVP award due to his impressive performance in the second tier of the United States of America soccer Leagues.
Asante, who won last year’s USL Championship player of the year is right on course to make it two consecutive player-of-the-year if he continues with his scintillating form in the league.
