Aduana Stars and Ashantigold layer a goalless drawn game in their Match day 13 fixture in the Ghana Premier League.
Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin made one change to the team that beat Dreams FC last weekend as former Bechem United winger John Nyamekye was handed his first league start for Aduana Stars.
Frank Akoto and Eric Esso were also handed starting roles for Ashantigold as Appiah Maccarthy captained the Miners in Dormaa
The first half saw Ashantigold enjoy lots of possession with Wobenu Benedict, Appiah Maccarthy and Amos Nkrumah all coming close to getting the opener.
Elvis Opoku came close to scoring for AduanaStars at the end of the first half as he was put through on goal by Yahaya Mohammed but his soft shot was saved by goalkeeper Frank Boateng.
It was a game of tactics in the second half as both Coaches were very cautious of giving chances away to the opponents.
AshantiGold began to take total control as midfielder James Akaminko and Latif Anabila were introduced into the game by Assistant coach Thomas Duah.
Aduana Stars on the other hand wanted all three points as Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin brought on young attackers Richard Nathan and Pius Asante. Their tactical changes also did not yield any game winning moments as the games ended in a goalless draw.
Flavien Jean Kongoza was adjourned Nasco Man Of The Match for his blissful performance in the heart midfield for AduanaStars.
AduanaStars travel to Sogakope to play WAFA as AshantiGold play host to Bechem United on MatchDay 14.
