Ghana Women’s Premier League champions Hasaacas Ladies, has been drawn in Group B of the maiden edition of the women’s CAF Champions League.
The representatives from Ghana who are expected to take part in the WAFU B are joined in the group by Nigeria league champions Rivers Angels Football Club as well as Association Sportive de la police of Niger.
The draw, which took place on Monday morning also sees Ivory Coast’s Onze Seours de Gagnoa, Union Sportive des forces Armees of Burkina Faso and Togo’s Amis du Monde Football Club also in Group A of the WAFU B champions league.
All six clubs are expected to fight for a place in the finals of the debut tournament which will be played Egypt.
Hasaacas Ladies won the double in Ghana after beating Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the final of the Women’s Premier League as well as the FA Cup finals.
