Accra Hearts of Oak SC goalkeeper, Richmond Ayi has revealed his top five players in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season so far.
The former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate picked two of his teammates, the top scorer in the league, WAFA’s sensational kid and Black Stars defender who plays for arch rivals Asante Kotoko SC.
In his question and answer with Phobian News, the Black Meteors shot stopper listed players whom he thinks deserves to be in a top five GPL stars.
When asked to pick his current top 5 players in the Ghana Premier League he stated.
“I will choose midfielder Benjamin Afutu of Hearts of Oak Kumasi Asante Kotoko center-back Ismail Abdul Ganiu, Augustine Boakye of WAFA, Patrick Razak of Hearts and the Premier League top scorer and Karela United Star Diawusie Taylor.
Richmond Ayi took over the goalposts as number 1 choice this season after Hearts of Oak’s defeat to Aduana in Dormaa but unfortunately lost out to Richard Attah again after Great Olympics loss and has failed to make the matchday squad three games into the second round of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.
