Accra Hearts of Oak poster boy Winful Cobbinah has been handed his maiden Ghana Black Stars call-up.
The Phobians star has been named in a 30-man squad announced by national head coach Kwesi Appiah for Ghana’s upcoming 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Ethiopia.
Cobbinah has been in outstanding form for Hearts since rejoining the club this year and his performances in the league have been rewarded with the call-up into the Black Stars.
The Hearts No.10 is part of the Black Stars B team preparing for September’s WAFU tournament. But he will join the Black Stars squad in Accra on Monday 29th May,2017 to begin preparations for next month’s clash with Ethiopia.
After that, the Black Stars will play two friendly matches with Mexico and the USA.
