Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker, Kwame Opoku has spoken about his desire to play for the senior national team of Ghana again after his debut against South Africa.

In an exclusive interview with Takoradi-based Spice FM, the USM Alger new player revealed that he feels he could have done much better than he did in Ghana against South Africa in Johannesburg at the FNB stadium.

“I wasn’t really satisfied with my performance at the Black Stars but the important thing is we qualified”, he said.

According to the former Nkoranza Warriors striker after admitting to not playing so well on his debut appearance for Ghana also stated that he would be surprised if he’s not invited to play for the senior national team of Ghana again.

“I will be surprised if I don’t get invited again because I need more games to prove myself”, he added.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker netted six goals in 16 matches for the Porcupine Warriors before his big-money move to USM Alger in Algeria.
