Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil is on cloud nine after scoring his third league goal of the season for MKE Ankaragucu in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday afternoon against Konyaspor.
Joseph Paintsil came from the bench to score in his team’s 4-3 win over Konyaspor on Sunday afternoon at home.
The former Tema Youth player netted his team’s third goal in their dramatic first win of the season in Turkish Super Lig this season after ten matches.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward was subbed on after 77 minutes of the match and scored under 60 seconds after his introduction to the game to draw his team level at 3-3.
Two minutes to full time, Emre Gural converted a spot kick to put the hosts 4-3 up on the 88th minute of the match to propel Ankaragucu to their first win of the season in the Turkish top-flight after ten games.
Paintsil has played in seven matches this season for the Yellow and Blues and found the back of the net three times after joining this summer from Belgium side KRC Genk.
