Midfielder Kofi Twumasi has signed for Atlanta United on a one-year deal.
The tireless midfield anchor will feature for the club’s second team in the MLS NXT PRO League after which he could be promoted to the main team if he performs well.
Twumasi, 26, has been without a club for one year since his released by German lower tier side VFL Homberg in January 2022.
He has previously also played for clubs including Oberhausen and Cluj in Romania.
Born in Kumasi, Ghana Twumasi grew up in US and holds American passport.
