Nine-member Kotoko board inaugurated in Kumasi

The new board of directors for Asante Kotoko Sporting Club which was constituted by Otumfour Osei Tutu II in tail end of last month met for the first time on Tuesday morning since their much anticipated appointment on May 28th, 2020.

The Executive chairman of the club Dr. Kwame Kyei was retained and named as chairman of the newly formed board as a way to thank him for single-handedly financing the activities of the club over the past three years.

Present at the meeting were all the none-members of the board and also the Chief of Staff of Manhyia Kofi Badu who represented Otumfour to welcome the new board members into the big family of the Porcupine Warriors.

The board has been ambitiously tasked by Otumfour to rebuild the club both on and off the pitch to ensure sporting and economic success.

Meanwhile during its maiden assembly the board would commence with the announcement of the big decision of the life patron of the club to impose a transfer ban on the team of Maxwell Konadu for at least one football season in order to reform the player recruitment policy of the club.
