Ghanaian Premier League side, Obuasi Ashgold have confirmed the signing of Kumasi Asante Kotoko misfit, Empem Dacosta.
The center-back was deemed surplus to requirements at the Porcupines and was out of favour in the 2019-20 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Kotoko player has inked a three-year deal with the Miners as a free agent after his contract with the Porcupines was terminated.
Empem joined the Porcupine Warriors from fellow Premier League side Karela United on a three-year deal but could not stand the test of time at the club as he was constantly dropped from the team by head coach Maxwell Konadu.
The 22-year-old becomes the 9th summer signing for the Yellow and Blacks as they intensify their preparation for CAF Inter-club competition and the return of Ghana Premier League.
