26 players of the Black Stars and both the technical team members and officials of the GFA were at the Manhyia Palace to seek the blessings of the Asantehene ahead of Sunday AFCON 2019 Qualifier match against Ethiopia.

The Manhyia Palace was packed as the Black Stars paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Ethiopia.

The delegation to the Manhyia Palace was led by the Hon deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Pious Enam Hadzide. Some of the officials of the Ghana Football Association who accompanied the team were Kwesi Nyantakyi, the President of the association, Osei Kweku Palmer, the vice chairman of the Black Stars management committee, Jones Abu, Alhassan, GFA member, Linear Addy a member of the Executive Committee of the GFA and Sanni Daara the Sports Person of the association.

The playing body was led by skippr Asamoah Gyan, while the medical team was also present.

Kwesi Nyantakyi did the introduction of the team and the GFA officials to the Asantehene one after the other.

Asamoah Gyan assured His Royal Majesty that they will make him proud by winning handsomely on Sunday.

The deputy Youth and Sports Minister thanked Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his advice all this while and also introduced the new Black Stars coach to him.
