Ghana President Nana Akufo-Addo has praised the Black Satellites after they won the 2021 Under 20 AFCON in Mauritania.
The Black Satellites dominated and beat Uganda 2-0 in the grand finale on a day which coincided with the country’s Independence day celebration and the head of state has lauded them.
“Congratulations to the Black Satellites for winning Ghana’s 4th AFCON U-20 trophy. Thoroughly deserved victory, and they’ve made Mother Ghana proud. What a way to celebrate our 64th Independence Anniversary!! 1/2” President Akufo-Addo tweeted.

Ghana has now won the AFCON Under 20 title four times and are at par with Egypt.
